The Walking Dead Preview

In the era of entertainment where vampires and crime dramas are center stage, the location where the hell are typically the zombies? We have been in definite need of an apocalyptic setting, and AMC is defined to provide us simply that with its upcoming series The Walking Dead. Airing Halloween night, The Walking Dead will depend on a very long running comic series created by Robert Kirkman. The comics Target the trials and tribulations of Rick Grimes and a select few of survivors after the zombie outbreak. What starts like a simple journey to locate his wife and son, the series quickly develops into a story of betrayal and survival inside a whole world of psychopaths and killers.

Initially occur Kentucky, Grimes, an effective a small town law enforcement officer, is wounded in the gun fight with a fugitive. Falling to a coma, he later wakes within his hospital bed lost and blind to the recent developments who have befallen the planet. He eventually meets a classic man with his fantastic son, and decides to line out for Atlanta to get his or her own family. Although this stunt nearly gets him killed, he eventually meets program a ragtag gang of survivors which is reunited with his wife and son. There after, The Walking Dead gets a quest through hell and high water to enjoy a party of tired, homesick, desperate individuals to salvation.

One defining feature on the comic series is the level of internal struggle and strife involving the survivors. Nowadays of decay, things are terribly troublesome to live on with, and odds of survival are limited. Everybody in the story is painfully aware of this fact (one chief means of avoiding zombies should be to rub yourself with their meat), plus it wears on them day in and time out. It could be an incredible disservice for the books when the tv series won't bring this on the forefront. They should show numerous struggle, not merely together with the numerous undead but within each character at the same time.

It really is interesting to notice that in a recent interview with Robert Kirkman, he let slip that there will probably be some non-comic story elements worked in, along with the series will end on some sort of cliffhanger that wasn't featured inside the comic books. However, it's going to be interesting to see that this new areas of the storyplot will be incorporated into the six episode series.

The characters inside the story are dynamic, and quite a few of the series involves dialog between survivors. The characters within this story leave in the same way fast when they appear, along with the story is loaded with interesting twists and turns. It's actually a fantastic story, and I have faith when you watch one episode you'll be hooked. No hand glowing fairies or southern vampires here, just brainless flesh-consuming hordes from the undead. If you think maybe the Shawshank Redemption blended with zombies and psychopaths looks like your form of thing, this show might be to suit your needs.
